Daihatsu Charade DeTomaso 926R '1985

'Crazy little thing'

Boxy flares just the way we like it! Source: pedal2themetal.wordpress.com

Back in ’85 Daihatsu created this crazy little thing to compete in Rally’s group B –yes against those monsters, such as 205 T16 and UrQuattro... Sadly, it was about to compete in WRC in the next season, when the group B regulations were banned. Anyway, super cute and even agile, as it was based on its predecessor 926 Turbo, also developed in cooperation with De Tomaso.

Yep, it's mid-engined! Source: pinterest.com
